Brothers launch North London Dirt’s debut running event
The brothers behind the iconic North London Dirt gravel bike event, have launched their debut running event, with all proceeds going to Hackney Foodbank.
North London Dirt Run takes place on Saturday October 10th and covers a 25km all-surface route from Leyton, taking in canal paths, woodland dirt tracks and suburban side streets.
Brothers Andrew and Philip Diprose are organising North London Dirt’s debut running event
Andrew Diprose, who is organising the event with his brother Philip, said: “We’ve been running North London Dirt gravel bike event in aid of a community centre for the past nine years and wanted to add an event and support Hackney Foodbank. We’ll have run leaders leading groups of different paces or you can put the route on your phone or watch and run it on your own. It suits runners of all paces!”
The Diprose brothers have brought onboard a range of brilliant companies. Start the day with a Kickback coffee, brewed by MiiR and pick up a brilliant goodie bag at the finish. There’ll also be pre-event runs (open to all) with Benchmark store in Islington.
North London Dirt Run is hosted with bike apparel brand Portal and ultra-running shoe specialists Mount to Coast, who will be offering shoes to try on the day. OTE (experts in sports nutrition) will be on hand with gels and bottle fill at the half-way point.
Registration costs £27.80. Visit: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/north-london-dirt-run-tickets-1998260663436
