We’ve launched a campaign to fund emergency food for Hackney children and caseworker support to lift their families out of crisis and we’d love your help.

Hackney has the second highest level of deprivation among children in England (64%). We regularly meet malnourished families living in unsuitable accommodation.

Our No Child Left Hungry campaign hopes to raise £50,000 to support families experiencing extreme hardship.  With your support, as well as alleviating hunger, we can help them out of poverty and offer children a brighter start.

Please donate and help us end child hunger in Hackney.

It’s hard to concentrate at school when your stomach is empty or when you don’t have a proper bed to sleep in. Imagine what the outcomes could be for children given a fair start in life.

In 2026 we expect to give out more than £125,000 worth of emergency food to children.  We estimate the cost of caseworker support for families attending Hackney Foodbank this year to be over £50,000.

Please support our No Child Left Hungry campaign by making a donation today.  Your kindness will help fund emergency food and caseworker support for Hackney’s most vulnerable children.
