NEW Citizens Advice freephone number
If you can’t afford food, you can call 0808 2082138 (freephone) for free to speak to a trained and independent Citizens Advice agent.
Changes to service due to Covid-19
Service will continue at our established centres for the time being. However, in light of the coronavirus, and to minimise risk, both to our volunteers and to clients, we have temporarily changed to an "at-the-door" service.

Places to get free food over Christmas
From Tuesday 24th December to Friday 3rd January, there are no foodbank centres open.
Food donations to send us? Please hold on to them until the New Year!
Due to the incredible response to our appeal for food donations, we now face the unprecedented task of having insufficient storage to hold it all!
Foodbank Closure Times over the Christmas Holidays
The Hackney foodbank office will be closed from 12 noon Tuesday 24th December until 10.00am Thursday 2nd January 2020. Our warmest wishes to you for hope and human compassion this Christmas and New Year.
Nearby road closure Monday 16th December
Unfortunately, the council is closing our road, Cherbury St, on that day. This will mean you will not be able to access our warehouse from New North Road.
